With reference to the previous post by Vincent. Actually the declining discipline occurs every year. Vincent has a point here though, but i think anyone with a reasonable and mature mind wouldn't get angry over his statements.

I personally think in poly, theres no need for aggression or harsh reminders. Personal responsiblity comes in alot. We are all 17-20 years old. Old enough to make decisions and have responsibilty in our actions. So long everyone do things logically, i think theres not a need for the post. So, everyone, have social responsibility no matter how busy u might be! Like how our govt treat H1N1! HAHA!

Firstly... since when is SP band a place where u can come and go as u like? If u tell me ur busy with school and all ITS FINE! You tell me your sick OK ITS FINE TOO. BUT DON'T COME TELLING ME U GOT OTHER COMMITMENTS! Cos if u have, then gotta make ur choice. If u have to skip practices, that means ur too busy. If u seriously want both, then you're seriously too greedy.

Why go for band concerts?

Hey wind band concerts in Singapore are getting less and less entertaining. Every band seems to be playing the same repertoire, doing the same things, with the same instrumentation, doing the same gimmicks, EVEN GETTING THE SAME GUEST PLAYERS! On contrary, chinese music is getting more westernized, injecting more creativity in their performances, AND at the same time, performing with higher level of musicality and more professionally. (I've been on chinese orchestra concerts so that's just my personal opinion)

One reason is probably due to the fact that most bands organize concerts solely because they HAVE to organize one in order to keep up the tradition eg. abc band's concert XIIXV. Going back to fundamentals, concerts are held for a commercial reason, simply said, to make money, which competition for that business is the drive for every band's rise in performance standard. The loss in this drive is what's causing the fall of bands today.

This makes us wonder... why are we still going for band concerts?

hi All! first to say congrats to my dear batch mates for finally graduating after 3 years in school. it has been wonderful playing together in the clarinet section with all of these guys, May u guys have a good path ahead and may the memories of these years remain.

HaHa. since year 1 u have tat cute auntie image and seem to be at some sort of auntie uncle odds with yoke and shao. my most memorable times with u is during the clari fest where u play tat big contra alto, really very cute looking, u shd look at some old photos. u sure know alot about shopping. it is very sad tat for one reason or another we somehow do not click together well and are somehow distanted compared to other section mates, but i will never forget those touching moments where u offer ur kindness to me, showing the warm and lovely side of u.

HaHaHaHahah. who can forget ur wonderful laughter, so bright, so clear and so loud. soar through the crowd and the sky. erm. both of us are weird people actually( u may protest against this and say i am the wierd one or at least the weirder one but we both actually are very "one kind" in our own ways), though in different ways. our ways of expression, our outburst of emotions and all tat sort of thing. but we had have some really gd time together , especially in Osaka Japan and we got along really well with each other, even though we are not particularly close friends. luckily the rumours during our year 1 time died soon enough...but u are sure a great friend ,

Ha! this guy, the legendary coloured wolf, not love rival, but lust rival! and we try to outlUst each other since during felicia time. Ha, we happen to want the same main course, but u ar, dun think tat becos the prey is thin means can easily swallow whole without having digestion problem. erm.......i believe everybody especially those in ur clique will agree tat u are great friend, even though ur mouth seldom produce things nice to hear and u KL people especially those u dun like. but u have a sense of righteousness , truthfulness and a loyalty. be nicer is gd and getting into trouble with people is a tiring chore. haha. u have a strong personality and humnour and endowed with many talents, shown or hidden.

erm......alot of times, it is gd to observe the situation carefully before reacting and there is no need to pull long face always. always avoid tension as far as possible and do not be too quick to show unHappiness. critism can always be packaged to meet objectives and not hit raw nerve. erm, u have tremendous tremendous music talent, our of my very respected musicaian.

Hey guys. Superduber miss you guys here. But well. Normally i would be able to control and not blog here but then.. Here i am

I was listening to some band pieces these few days. Like Wedding march, Fantasy variation and of course - BARNES THIRD SYMPHONY!

Juz some rants of mine for ppl who can know more about me or laugh at me!

I recall back in year one during the 1st few practices, we were at the now-demolished MLT2, i rmb last time that fabian would go to the very secluded and dark corner to tune. That time i was wondering if he was opening the secret chambers of SP (Imagine Harry potter here). Harry Fabian? Nah.. Hairy Fabian more likely. Juz joking Fabian!
Then came the days of the camps and IBM. Too bad i wasn't too close with everyone back then. And it was quite back to the extent that i often go band alone and back home until i get to know tiacwoo and gang better. What horrible days.
That was sort of some reasons why i did not play for MD that year. Got so sian of band. Luckily i joined back band at year2! If not i wouldn't get to have my last MD experience with you guys. Haha!

Thank you to everyone who has made my last journey in spband life so great.
Despite not knowing most of the juniors for a longer period, it's really fun working together with you. I regretted not joining earlier ibm with you guys too, hahaha (:

i believed every year 3 seniors are very grateful for what you have done for us- MD GIFTS & we will definately rmb the fun times we had together. Let's us not be sad about departing, but be happy for the next coming more gathering, outing together. haha we are still kicking well in life . anyway, i would like to take this chance to say thanks to everyone who has written so meaningful msgs for me.
& not forgetting to say ' THANKS' for developing such a big photo of me and my injured ankle. Thanks to my fellow year3 section mates for doing simple cards, giving me sweets etc. I'm quite surprised too by your msg & those words that you had written are quite dear to my heart. Helllllloooo stop rmbing the arguing sessions about me ,ws and yc please HAHA! instead, rmb the short good times we had together .

IBM 2008 is finally over! lots of wonderful moments in the concert. really love it! I want to thank the year 3s, my batch ppl for all the wonderful( as well as not so wonderful but nevertheless meaningful) time we spent together. All these are precious memories.

I want to thank all their year 1 for their wonderful participation in this concert and the spices of life each of u brng to the band in ur own unique way. Be it the blur blur cute xuejin, the laughing machine jarnah, the talk cock king chee meng, the powerpacked Faith, the long slimy(but pretty!) shitian, the ever enchanting megawaty, or the cute girl with droppy and emotive eyes.
hope each of u learn from the exp and continue to press on. it has been a great time working with all of u and hope u guys continue to improve urself.

very importantly, i want to thank the legendary yueyuan sis. where will our ass be without u? he has been around the longest and therefore is an antique tat is priceless in our hearts. he came in during tanny era, where he and ah beng used to drop countless jaws with their playing, he went through, the brandon era on a lower profile, then became Sl during the yuan jun era and played an impt role and now during his junior era he is still ard. he hass been a gd section advisor evn though he Has hand out his SL post. really owe u alot.

on low note, this is laoban last IBM with us and nth can be more saddening.haiz. but hs said he enjoyed it very much and i am glad for him. tat y i make video recordings to keep gd memories. i HAve video recording of macchu pigu, chorale and shaker dance, gelato and of cos the freshman item!! cant stop watching them, wonderful memories. some really very nice musical moments, anyone wants them ask me send u online.

GUys, IBM is over, i know some of u are going through a very emotionally tough time. may u pul through all ordeals and we can get close with each other once again1 after exam, lets get our ass rocking and do a spectacular MD!

IBM 2008 finally over.. i can see most of the year ones are trying hard to play the Overture to Russlan and Ludmilla which is consider tough.. but somehow we had made it and finish it with not much of break down but of course there got to be small little lost count/rush/squee.... but it's an experience and hope u guys will remember it and know the feeling, and next time will be less nervous.. although i'm not really scold or fierce to u all most of the times, but to get better just have to be serious of prac.. anyway.. hope u all will play for MD and jiayo for those kind of pieces which u all can do it want.. this batch of year 2/3s, hope u really have fun/stress up with kind of crazy piece i choose for the section.. but toccata and this was great.. continue playing clarinet even after poly.. cux it's a waste after such wonderful practices and u just stop.. maybe not oftenly cux of work.. but well.. jiayo and distintions to all of your exams .....

First. A piece from Pablo de Sarasate. This is a DAMN SEXY PIECE! Just hear the violin and you'll melt! And look at how the soloist play. Its god-like status alr. He's so good til i feel even he is enjoying playing the piece to the audience. Then.. At the last part. The piece go so fast and the soloist go so fast til i cannot even see the bowing. This is one of my favourite Marches i've ever heard other then some mozart and wedding marches.. Its a piece from Johann Strauss, RADETZKY MARCH! We played it during the River Raft this year. But then.. The way we play it.. I feel so (find the appropriate word yourself)... BUT BUT. Juz listen to this joyful piece. Also, the oldman Karajan (conductor) CONDUCTS THE AUDIENCE! ITS SUPER FUNNY! Though the audience only claps. This is really a fun piece in the way Karajan and his orchestra have played.

TCHAIKOVSKY'S 1812 OVERTURE! This is my hot favourite! I first heard this in a Philharmonic Wind concert, i forgot which concert though. The grandeur and effects from this piece just nv fails to reach my heart! Though there are also more pieces that can reach hearts like Jupiter? RUSLAN AND LUDMILLA! HAHA!

Section comp (2?)

Anyway. I'm blogging this while listening to Jupiter, bringer of jolity. So, actually wanna talk cock here. End up I wanna talk about some more serious stuffs.

Section comp. First thing is. Let me apologise to everyone! Because i believed i did not perform up to a standard which i think i can produce. However, I had fun too. The whole process of the practices to the comp. THANKS GUYS!

Let me share my experience with you guys. I think what really is a wonderful performance is one that can make audiences smile and rmb them. Which is. THE TUBA DUET! Some more i heard that they practice on the day before the section comp itself! To play in such unison, i think it takes more than juz practice ba.
Next is sax section, actually before results i made a bet with some1, i say sax section and i was right. Ok, thats not the point.
What really shocked me is that. SORRY YUTING! HAHA! The section in band that is hard to be in tune and stuff (due to instrument?), suddenly sound so blended. With Chloe playing baritone. The pulse alr so damn steady, then i think 2 of the year1s damn power. Its no wonder they won la. Everytime like swee swee (beautiful)!

Then ar. Today went to the Philwind concert with guest conductor Maestro Timothy Reynish. Gosh. This old man is just so cool. THe way he conducts. His cues and gestures. So small yet powerful. Then its easy to understand too! Not say too difficult to know his conducting leh.

Back to some thoughts in my mind.
Still wanna thank everyone who have played with the section in the comp. And special thanks to YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! YUE YUAN! For arranging such a wonderful piece for us. LOVE YOU MAN!

Lastly, share with you all my horror today. Cos i was taking train to city hall today. My eyes caught something of equal status with a Phantom. Sia la, that thing i saw was like Phantom of the OMG! I saw a Bapok (Ah gua, gay, or whatever HE is). Some more HE cross dress...

1. HE not say long hair. He is botak, but with a small patch of hair on the head juz above the area above the eyes
2. He wore those kind of Paris Hilton big shades
3. He wore a brown dress with V-neck. And has those feathery fur surrounding the V-neck
4. The blouse is amazingly short
5. He wore stockings
6. He wore heels
7. He found a seat but did not want to sit down but stand there and made poses.
8. HE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED ME

Not that I'm not open to such people. But i think I still have this kind of stigma in me and cannot accept this kind of ppl YET. Hope 1 day i can though.. Imagine i go cross dress and turn gay 1 day. Jiarong.. I sure haress you 1. And hor if i ever become like that. I think Hui shi tian sure damn happy 1! HAHA!

Section Competition

Firstly, I wanna thank our dear Yue Yuan for choosing such a nice piece. I was in love by it when I first hear it, see it and play it! And after working on the details, I find that this piece is a good piece also becoz it allows the yr 3s to play SOLO. So, yesh, find it a very well written and arranged piece for everybody. Those who never gets a chance to play solo, and for those who seldom attend the practices, your part as arranged by YY, I think you all still can cope with it, so thumbs up everybody.

Secondly, I understand that some of us were feeling very upset for what we had played, esp the yr3s. Reason why we feel bad becoz this is our last year, and I really would want to play our parts correctly and beautifully. Including myself, in the end, we did not.. But think on a brighter side, this piece gives you a chance to play solo eh, and you all had really tried your best le.. So, Smile my frens.. Lets practice more to play better neater!!

This 1 the SP daiko/daiso/daikin or dunno what they call it. They actually look cool but i remember one of the drummers keep smiling to the tourists. Totally spoil the war-like drumming sensation. I wonder what he saw..

well i hope everyone have had fun for the few weeks in band!
now comes the serious part.
we need to start preparing for section comp so if possible make yourself free on this coming sat and tuesday before band.
as for saturday sectionals will start at 12.
for saturday's sectionals we will work on the sound production of the section mainly for the year 1s.
seniors should try to come down as well.
and maybe we'll sight read alittle.
for tuesday sectionals will be for choosing the section comp's piece.and since thats the case i expect everyone to turn up for this particular sectional.it'll start at 12.

SRRR IS OVER!
The sun is better than last year though. The air con seems to be blasting. All the scores flying. A bit frustrating. I even have to use my secret weapons which is reed guards to clip the scores. I have around 8? And i have realised 1 thing in SRRR. RED BULL REALLY GIVES YOU WINGS! 1 red bull in the night lasted till morning. 1 in the morning to last the whole of SRRR!

But!! This year was better for some reasons that you all shall not say! WAHAHAHA!

I guess a calm day comes after a stormy journey out at sea. For the past 2 weeks, lots of things happen and i guess is more or less settled peace now.

June Section Fund

Monthly section fund is going to start soon! Coming June the first band practice, I will collect $2 each from everybody (Including YY??????). Cheap right? So, start saving 20cents per day now!

Section fund is used to pay YY and Fangyu for photocopying the scores and buying the files. The remaining amount will be accumulated and can be spend on birthday present? or photocopying the scores! :)

Start saving! And Koh Jia Rong, you owe me $5 for band fund ah!!! Dun forget!!! :))

RiverRaft Performance
This saturday night will be practicing for the pieces. Stay over night, and Sunday morning will head to Clarke Quay and perform for SP Annual Event - River Raft! Hope ALL will be performing!! :)

Graduation Day Performance
Grad Performance will be coming next Tuesday. LOA will be given for those performing!

all i can say that the 1st sectional organise by yokechong turn out was not bad, appreciated for those who came. believe those few year ones who came are the ones who are keen to be part of the band. ppl like kath, jarna, song ying. besides that, hoping that if u can't make it for the sectionals , pls inform yokechong before hand, so he can make arrangments and not half half, than wan to work or the IFC things also cannot, for those choir pieces(have u ever seen or read through the scores?) question to those who didn't came.. anyway, the IFC CONCERT is within one month (it's on 1st June)..

Anyway.. I've been thinking quite a few things. I was at SGH today. And yup.. even though its a monday today. Theres alot of ppl. I was thinking.. How much money the hospital can earn.. a day.. damn damn high i suppose.. OKay.. main topic coming.. I bet all of you heard what is a RPG (role-playing strategy game) right? Its a game where u control a ( or a few) characters and run about in a whole and explore and complete objectives. But then.. Imagine that.. or apply that in real life.. Imagine Singapore with everyone running around Singapore in all directions. How cool. I imagine all those ah peks and aunties running.. God-like alr.
And then, from the tag board.. All those comments.. make me feel like doing a poll.

This is gonna be the worst week of my life..
1) My mom sometimes juz forgets to give me my allowance. Which means i'm always short of cash.
2) I got heavy cash deficit. Which means my income does not match my expenses and i'm in debt due to shopping.

Let me share with you all something i experienced with my classmate a few days ago. Which i bet u all experience it somewhere and someday too. Here it goes.
We (me and my classmates) were on board this train home. I forgot where. But then there was this auntie. Damn power. See got ppl alight, chiong to the seat. Nudged my friend with those kind of auntie pushing. Description = eyes set on target, hands clear the path and legs shuffle to the target. This is totally and absolutely frustrating.
Luckily she nudged my fren and not me.
Who knwos what i'll do? Shout at the auntie and give her a piece of my mind? Thats not the point! Why is there such unruly kind of behaviour 1 when the government is trying to promote something like a "gracious citizen" concept. I think the govt will have to work double hard to realise that goal.
I SHALL HELP THE GOVERNMENT!
Also, why need to chiong juz to sit down. Wanna sit? go GuangMing Shan la. There's over abundance of "seats" to be allocated. She can sit there all day long is a couple of decades time anyway.

as i have proposed to some of u, i want to organise a section study tgt thing the next coming week. i think its gd tat sometimes we have company when we study, otherwise its quite emo, so let study tgt.

some of u will be worried tat if we study tgt, we will end up keep talking and dun achieve anything, so for tat concern, i have come out with the following plan, and if we must stick to it.

6 to 730...intensive study.....must follow through. TOTAL SILENCE> whoever talk is a tortise.

730 to 745..... short break...

8 to 9...................intensive study......total silence.......whoever talks is a pimp

9 to10........can chat freely.....haha

and we will end at 10........

there is one gd and isolated place we can study tgt where no one else will be fighting for space with us. the band rm! i can open band rm now...................and i have been staying in the band rm for the past 2 days unitl 10, so i garuntee from 6 to 10 no one will be in there at this period........so let go there study........dun leak this out, later the poly come and chase us away or some other sect all come and fight space with us!! haha no lar kidding...but se u guys

so we study frm 6 to 10, this coming monday start, then we decide on subsequent days, those want to comejust come, i hope i not the only one. haha. come abit earlier at 530 so tat we can have dinner then start on time. liming and rong u 2 say will come one, so must see u 2.

Life as a student is really the worst. We are at the mercy of anyone and anything. We have no powers in anything. We are still minors ( according to law. Ppl under age 21 are minors, there are alot of things that the law forbids minors to do ), we have teachers above us that we gotta "serve", we have examinations that we gotta settle and then... At home, we got 2 interrogative police officers at home, trying to dig out all information on what you did. Worse thing is, once these polices are angry and quarrel with u. Praise the Lord! Its a Thai horror/gore show. I must admit. The show got some Thai babes. Thailand sure has some pretty girls. Now the question is.. Not that i wanna generalise but i hope to use a gender scanner can them. Cox these days.. Some Chio bu.. got.. hmm... something.. that... men... have... Opps... Regardless of that. They are beautiful! Singapore has its own pool of.. pretty girls i guess. And considering our small population, i think Singapore tikopehs like me are blessed!

Back to the movie. Well.. Must say its not a very nice movie.. For a timid soul like me.. the show got alot of disturbing scenes. the scare factor is there. but then. the story line and ending is sort of common. if u wanna know. go watch it. Liming? Watch it okiex? Waha!

I think you might wonder, why i watch movie when its in a study week. No reasons, juz wanna take some time to relax. Guys, dun study so hard til stressed up and forget to relax.
Relaxing is as impt as studying. As the saying goes. More haste less speed. So.

This concert.. Its a really nice experience for me.. I dare say.. This is the 1st time i felt like that.. Not even during my sec sch days.. With 2 performances at VCH and 2 at esplanade..

I am sure tat everybody enjoyed this trememndously! i definetly do. thanks to yueyuan bro* and jig sis. wonderful snr u hAve been. i would love to share some of my experience and my flow of thoughts throuhout the concert . before tat, let me just express my thanks to some of the yr 1s who HAve been working hard. vince and rong are gd .....needless to say, but most imptly, i think liming HAs improved! improve quite abit. credit to this small thing. thanks Wenshao for working with me and the 2 junior. huiying also improve. jeannna! get ur ass back. we miss u

when first reach VCH, wenshao straight away K. L** me already. haha. say i am maid. then i help carry contra clarinet and i accidentally hit jing sis on the shoulder. wad she said is unbelivable!!! she said lucky she nv turn ard or else if i hit her in fron, she will become flat. Goodness! HaHa. i thought jing sis was shy!!

rehearsals was fine , and the thanks session after the rehearsal already set me in a sentimental mood.

finally concert start.

wagner:
the opening was so grand and i was in super high mood. but then towards the middle section at the march line there the band was not quite together and i became nervous and cock up few things. it is sort of discoraging. but then the end of tat piece was once again grand and it was tgt.

ghost train;
miss pontianak did the opening solo marvellously well it was eerie and the band entrance was gd on bar 6. but the band was kind of reserve for the piece in the beggining . i felt tat the trombone did their effects well. sad part was tat bar 124 was not tgt. the part we pract as a sect like siao! argh! so sad. but the ending lke the previous piece was really gd.

inn:
to wenshao. i think we are considerably in tune. we could HAve been much worse. the overall intonation was not too bad for the band but we did not bring out the dynamic in the first movement very obviously. the 2nd movement, nice solo by fidi and johan. touching. i dropped a tear there. so emo the feel. the third movment was nice. i think kellyn picc sound improve considerably.nice!! john snare drum begnning was nice too. the feel was the best in this old man.

hurricane:
good job momo tan. but i think the woodwind triplets sounded soft. i wanted to play it loud cos labansay so but i think everybody was quite soft on it and laoban hiself conducted it very gently and nv signal play louder, so i thouhgt just play so its ok. dunnoe whether it is pronouced well to the audience.

orient:
i gt lost in the piece!! cant believe it ! of cos manage to find my way back. but i thought i will get lost only in wagner and ghost train. which i nv get lost. but i gt lost in this ! ARGH quite sad tat the 3 cannon solo of yue yuan sis rong and me nv come out as well as it could. abit sad.

after orient . felicia mak tell me she nv bring score for galxy scare me to death!! argh!! every oncert she sare me. last concert one day before tell me HAven buy clothes.....Haiz.

this piece is memorable becos it is the piece tat i first time ever conduct sp band for. but my moood is very nervous throughout thanks to ms felicia.hAHa. i shall forgive u. but then i like the slow part of it. wlatz part was nice too.

this 2 piece really touhing. believe i tried not to cry but somehow cried.

welcome:
this piece was so emo and touhing tat so many ppl cry. but i have a really unpleasant task to do. i have to deicate and present the band appreaciation to yuan jun. i wanted to do it at the end of the piece but weijie ask me do it in the middle. Argh! so embarrasing. when i sudeenly walk out ppl gt shock , then when i came back with tat toy. ppl aall laugh at me. so paiseh. then when i GO up and want to hug yuan jun. something terrible HAppened. as he was so much taller than me and he was stil standing on the podium, i couldnt reach his waist, i reached his hips instead and my knuckles just..............so sorry yuan jun . i didnt mean to hit u right in the goal post . but i believe i didnt bring much harm. u still can HAve children de.

i want to say to u tat whetehr u think u keep throwing emo or tat u HAve done really senseless things which u now regret or tat u HAve not done enough. i respect u as the student conductor. u are in the process of growing up and all human makes mistakes. i enjoyed the passion u have in music and ur musicality is great.

to yy and yj:
this 2 person are the most musically inclinded in the band and i hope they will continue to help me out in my coming yr. i am really dust compare to them in music. hope tat u will come back and help me i have lots and lots lots music qns to ask u 2!!

yo all my beloved sectionmates. so fast our MD concert has ended, since last blogupdate was the sectional time change. haha. times files. my very last sectional with u guys and future will be taking over by yokechong. pls give yokechong the respect like wat u guys give to me neither u r range from weak to better players. Times without me and jingx must takecare of your instruments, be happy, cleanup the cupboard and of course be in good harmony. May or may not i'll be still in sp and if i stay, i also not sure about playing with u all, cux i think u guys need more exposure to be independent, so i still consideration if u all still asking me.

messages to all of u:

[YC] since u played in IBM in your 1st year, u played 2nd with me with another 5 more 2nd clar players. and I be very tao to u all, cux i'm a cold blood person. be your target to become a better player has also make me be aware of bad playing to be present infront of u all. so glad that u comeback sp band and have fun although is stress, but always believe in yourself. and from now on u are the SL, must set good example, playing doesn't matter on power. it's the character and attitude. so jiayo. :)

[FY] always think u r a not so good player will not pull u far in achieving certain standard, from the day u r appointed as the Eb player and now. from very soft to can hear very clearly in such a big band. everything comes true becux u pracs. so dun ever see yourself too low. and continue collect section fund. i will pay during the chalet. :)

[WeeS] u know u last time very quiet, always in your own world. when tellin u how to play 4/4 beat in the style i wan and has cux u a big stress and i know that period u emo, but we still finish it. with all the problems, wheather it's a easy or very hard piece u had done it. and i really proud to have u for believing in me, but also believe in yourself. bass line doesn't = easy. continue to work on how techique u can be in future. studyhard. dun get emo easily le k. :)

[JiaH] although u joined us in your year2, tryin to join the clar section with your 2nd hand clarinet which u brought tons of years. + knowin u played the trumpet. dun really agree that u sound good on clar, but also dunwan to broke your xin. so lucky that when u came in, laoban brought the contra clar. and teachin all the need u have to know on clarinet. now i really can say omg on your sound, so do still inproving your playin. so paiseh that i still believe that u sound better on the lower clarinet. take care yourself and your contra. :)

buttocks. hey guys. it has been quite some time since i last posted. let me first by thanking all of u who HAve supported me , esp those who have voted for me. i really enjoyed working with u guys , and it is my pride and joy to grow up with u guys.

also, congrats to yoke chong who Have been crowned the next SL. haha. i am sure u will want to prove to Brandon tat u can do a damn good job.

most importantlly, and most sentimentally, i would love to thank 2 very important person who have occupied a significant place in my life as well as in the section. this 2 person will of cos be none other than our yr 3 seniors, yueyuan sis and jing sis!! haha. ok lar, yueyuan sis cannot be considered a yr 3 by official standard, but nvm we still consider him tat way! haha. i will dedicate this entry to u .. HaHa.

yueyuan sis:

i can only be full of awe and respect when i talk about this legendary figure who in his own right deserve credit for making the section into what it is.the amount of time and effort he put in plannning sectionals, planning for clarinet festival, teaching all of us its really admirable. he is also a very caring and humble person who even thought its critical when it is comes to teaching us, he is patient and respectuful to all players and he dosent look down on anybody. i will nv forget the first time i come into sp band and i sit beside him. my clarinet gt prob then and he helped me fixed the problem. he teached me and advised me, guiding me thorugh music for a festival and he taught me on my solo as a yr 1. thks so much to u. there are times when we dun agree with each other and get upset with each other. i am very sorry for the times i made u angry and the times i am not so nice.HaHa. thk you so much!! great snr.

jing sis:
she has a very warm and caring personality. a very joyful and jovial girl. she has made my life in the band so much more warm to heart becos of her care and concern towards me and her acceptance of me. i always hold u in high regards snr! haha. sorry for the times i irritate u and freak u out. i will nv forget when u saw me for the first time when i am yr 1 !. i freaked u out so much! haha. u whispered to candice and rebecc" joanne jnr so wierd de! scary!!" then u dare not sit beside me. haha. then we manage to get to know each other really well duirng the jap trip and we became close and developed mutual respect. haha. u are a wonderful snr, and i can nv thank u enough for the times u show care to me and comfort me when i am down. may u stay pretty always!! haha

Next time before u go off for dinner or anywhere, pls kindly place your bags under your chair and place the instrument in proper position so it won't be in danger status. and hahaha... NOT like the above pic which is really very ... hahaha.... can guess which one is my bag and clarinet? hahaha... so just place it nicely, so it's easier to take things and cross the front row without danger to instruments...
